Brief Description
To improve service delivery, GBV units and desks have been established in the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) for crime investigations and in the National Public Prosecution Authority (NPPA) for case prosecution. Toll-free lines have also been set up by various institutions to facilitate the reporting of GBV and child defilement cases, including a dedicated line (3029) for reporting abuse and seeking support from the Kacyiru IOSC. Additionally, capacity building for justice and legal aid actors is ongoing to enhance their ability to handle GBV cases.
